800W 25A MPPT Solar Charger Power Supply Module 18V-90V to 2-60V DC-DC Step Down Buck Converter Auto Charging Board Ideal Diode

800W 25A MPPT Solar Charger Power Supply Module 18V-90V to 2-60V DC-DC Step Down Buck Converter Auto Charging Board Ideal Diode

Features

1. Supports 18-90V wide voltage input, compatible with various solar panels for flexible and efficient operation
2. Supports adaptive 5W-800W photovoltaic panels to meet diverse power requirements across scenarios
3. Features output reverse current protection with built-in high-current ideal diode functionality, enabling direct battery charging
4. Standby power consumption approx. 0.9W during daylight; zero power consumption with automatic backflow prevention at night
5. Supports DC-DC regulated power output for direct load connection

Parameter
Input Voltage: DC 18-90V
Output Voltage: DC 2-60V
Output Current: 0-25A adjustable
Unattended automatic lithium battery charging without activation
Charges even on cloudy days; automatically stops when fully charged
Automatic temperature-controlled fan cooling
Can function as a step-down regulated adjustable power supply
This DC power module is a buck controller. Considering wire voltage drops in PV panels and lower panel voltages during cloudy/rainy conditions, charging a 12V battery requires PV panel open-circuit voltage exceeding 18V input. For example: - 18V panels: 2 panels in series (e.g., 18V-72V for 12V charging) - 42V panels: 2 panels in series (e.g., 42V-80V for 24V charging)

Commissioning Procedure
1. Connect 16V-80V PV panel input (do not exceed input voltage; observe polarity). Correct wiring activates the power indicator light. If the output indicator light illuminates immediately, proceed directly to Step 3.
2. If the power indicator lights up after input connection but no output voltage is present, first adjust the MPPT potentiometer counterclockwise until voltage output appears and the output indicator lights up.
3. For charging a 12V battery, set output to 14.2V; for a 24V battery, set output to 28.4V; for a 48V battery, set output to 56V.
4. Connect the battery and test the input voltage with a multimeter. Adjust the MPPT potentiometer to match the input voltage to the PV panel's maximum power point voltage (i.e., operating voltage). For an 18V PV panel, the open-circuit voltage of a single string is approximately 21V, with an operating voltage of 18V. For a 36V PV panel, the open-circuit voltage of a single string is approximately 43V, with an operating voltage of 36V. For a 43V solar panel, the open-circuit voltage of a single string is approximately 49V, with an operating voltage of 43V. Specifications vary by panel type; refer to the default factory parameters labeled on the panel's back.
Set the output voltage to 14.2V and output current to 20A. Adjustable range: 1-20A. Set the MPPT voltage to 17V.
